The mold is quality. 600 projectiles from the first casting session. Powder coated with quality Powder Coat Store product. Driving them to surreal speeds in a 22TCM. From what I can tell, these would work for the 22TCM9R Glock conversion. They have to be set deep like the 9R version of the 22 TCM due to the straight sides. 1.205 max OAL. Sitting on 10.2 W296. As the gun is new to me I don’t have chrono and group data yet. But these are flying to about 1800 in the current configuration, shot from the 1911 Commander.

These are from a 4 cavity Arsenal Brass mold.

I don't know the exact hardness but they are harder than 50/50. They are pretty easy to cast and inspect. Here is how weighing them came out... ( number of each weight)

38.1 grains 4
38.2 4
38.3 11
38.4 8
38.5 12
38.6 0
38.7 2
38.8 5
38.9 6
39.0 0
39.1 1

This is a no groove of my design very well made By Arsenal. Coated with Hi Tek and sized .225. The last group at 40 yards was 6 shots in about 1 and 1/8 inches. But 3 were in a tiny 3 shot group all overlapping and the other 3 were in perfect orbit around it. The crosshairs covered the aiming point and a better scope is called for. The load was Unique and ran about 1850 fps.

The gun was a CZ 222 Remington and there was zero leading.

I've done some more testing ( the above is me) at what the range finder calls 39 yards. I used reloader 7 for one load and it shot 3/4 inch at 39 yards at 2175 fps. Unreal.. I hope to lose 400 fps and bring the group to under 1/2 inch. It should not have worked at that velocity...no leading ( I use Hi Tek) at all....bore is really clean... a few notes... I am old and not a good shot off the bench... This is to be a 22 lr replacement and maybe a 22 mag+ replacement. I am not going to caught short of 22 lr shooting again...

The mold itself is first class work....

I ordered this mold from Arsenal Molds. It weighs 36 grains and is smooth sided. The first load out of it was 3 shots touching at about 16 yards. That group was repeated and the velocity was 1750 to 1825. ( You could have covered either group with a 45 bullet.) It too was coated with Hi Tek. I have zero leading with this.

Shooting this boolit into water jugs at 15 yards yielded penetration of 3 jugs with the 4th jugs broke but the boolit was in the 3rd jug. The nose expanded to about 30 cal. I had to kill a bad groundhog at about 20 yards and it was instant. The bore is super clean- no leading at all... Pretty good for a plain base

I suspect I have years of fun ahead finding a good load. ( I actually want 2...one at 1100 and one at 1900 +)

Update -- " 22 smooth sided bullet shows real promise at 40 yards. This is at 1850 fps too. Unreal for a plain base bullet to do that"
