The sprue plate was bowed in the middle. When I cut the sprues it left a nub on both bullet bases and the cuts weren’t centered on the bullet bases. I lapped the sprue plate till all machining marks were removed then filed the notch for the stop pin to allow the plate to be centered on the bullet bases. Once those two issues were corrected, the mold cast great bullets with flat bases and centered sprue cuts.
